KA2 Catching up with digital space – A Glimpse into Job Shadowing in Slovenia

In the scope of Erasmus+ KA2 project “Catching up with digital space”, to understandand the effective methodologies in senior education, representatives from Czech and Polish organizations visited job shadowing at Epeka, a Slovenian organization committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by seniors, particularly those from marginalized groups.

Understanding Daily Routines: One of the primary objectives was to delve into the daily routines of Epeka. Observing their operations provided valuable insights into the rhythm of their work, offering a firsthand look at how they integrate senior education initiatives into their daily agenda.

Approaching and Engaging Seniors: Epeka’s approach to engaging seniors revealed a thoughtful combination of cultural sensitivity and targeted strategies. The job shadowing participants explored interactive methods that encouraged active participation and fostered a sense of community among the senior demographic.

Reaching Marginalized Groups: Epeka’s expertise in reaching marginalized groups was particularly enlightening.
