During the last year we have implemented Erasmus+ KA2 project “Youth in Action” together with Animus from Poland and Linkuva from Lithuania.
What a journey it was. We have involved tens of youngsters and inspired them to be active on social and civic level in their neighborhood and to volunteer on local but also international level. We have brought them together with youngster from Latvia and Poland and let them brainstorm and create content about how to activate their peers to do the same, but also to draft a policies for our decision makers.
But it brought also a lot of growth to our organisation and raised our capacity when approaching young people and grassroot organisations from our regions.
The project included following phases:
A1 Kick-Off
A2 Local Activity: promotion of volunteering in local society
A3 Local Activity: Preparation and implementation of the MAP of volunteering
A4 International Youth Exchange
A5 Local Activity: Local meetings with city game
A6 Local Activity: Local Volunteering Gala / Day
A7 Admin meeting
